November 12, 2006 We've been having some water flow issues in our pipes for a while now. If someone is taking a shower and someone else flushes a toilet, the water in the shower becomes a tiny drip that amounts to nothing. And don't even think about taking a shower and running the dishwasher or washing machine OR heaven forbid if 2 people shower at the same time (in 2 different bathrooms). Well alas The Man has fixed the above problem. Thursday evening he cut a hole behind the bathroom cabinet and replaced a broken gate valve. It was broken in the closed position so very little water was allowed through. When held up to the light I couldn't even see through to the other end. So anyway, we can run the dishwasher, washing machine, use all the showers, AND flush every toilet in the house if we wanted to and still have plenty of pressure. Wicked ain't it. This morning as I was showering The Man stood next to the shower and said "So do you like the new and improved shower?" "I had to turn it down because the pressure was a bit much." "You don't like the massage feature?" "Well yes, but I'll have to build up to it. I don't like it feeling like it's taking off my scalp." "Yeah I had to turn it down too." "Now if it just took off my leg hair....."
