Wednesday, March 29. 2006 Well today is the big presentation. Frances is on edge, because she is so nervous. She wants me to do her part as she claims a sore throat or something. She's cracking me up. Last night she set the temperature in the room to 72 degrees. I warned her that I would have to sleep naked if she gets the room too hot. She just said she'd snap a picture of me and use it as leverage. Bring in on missy. On a good note I see blue sky peeking through the curtains in the hotel room. Isn't that the luck? On the day we're scheduled to drive home (around noon after the conference ends) the California sky decides to cough up some sun. It's a conspiracy I'm telling you. Last night the Mardi Gras festivities went okay--just okay. Cross your fingers for me, I want to win a prize today. Any prize will do, but I want the Ipod Nano. I'm not sure if I'm feeling lucky. I'm thinking we're going to head over to Gelson's Market to snag a chocolate chip croissant. That'll bring me luck.
