Wednesday, July 26, 2006 The other day I saw the postman drive up to the mail boxes. We have community boxes due to the rising practice of identity thievery in America--you know the kind that uses individual keys. My mailbox is 2 houses down on the corner. It's not a big deal to walk down and retrieve the mail. It's even a pleasant jaunt in the evening. As I was saying, the other day I saw the postman drive up to the boxes. He did his thing and drove away. I went and got the mail a few minutes later. In my box was a slip of paper that says "Sorry we missed you, blah blah blah." BLINKS. In other words, my postman was too damn lazy to get his ass out of his truck and come to my house to give me something which is his job.
