Whirlwind Update

I've been so busy that I haven't had time to blog. Let's see....this past Tuesday I finished my last college class for a long while.  I've had approximately 13 interviews and I've applied at about 20 different places.  You do realize that I'm just giving the highlights of it all.

My son turns 15 in a few days. He informed me that I didn't have to give him any presents this year, because I could just carry them over to next year when he turns 16 and buy him a car.  Blinks.  I'll admit that was pretty damn smooth. Too smooth.

My daughter got her first non-electric razor and shaving gel in her Easter basket. She got an electric one about 6 months ago.  I didn't want her to cut her legs to ribbons like all girls do their first time shaving with a razor.  Right after she shaved with the razor she kept rubbing her legs together like a grasshopper. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "They're just so smooth I can't help it."  But she made up for it. Two days later she cut the crap out of her ankle and now sports a festive band aid across it.  Ahh the memories of the first shaving cut sting.  It was a bonding moment.

Brad is refereeing a paintball tournament MWXPL (Mountain West Extreme Paintball League) in Salt Lake next week and then the following week he's hosting a tournament here in town.

I want a vacation.
